In 2024, Ford's misses with the boot were expensive when England fell against the Kiwis - however it proved a contrasting result in the recent game.

"These attempts are consistently planned," Ford continued.

"Borthwick represents an incredible coach that he is always in my ear about it, and correctly so because three points prove important at any stage of the game."
